I think we'd be better off just allowing the CPU games to be simmed. Your team should succeed based on their talent and since we're building our own teams, it would be a fair indication as to your GM ability. I don't agree with anyone being able to inflate their player ratings by exploiting AI weaknesses against the CPU.

The league is not a Coaching lge only. I actually am trying to accomplish the opposite of your suggestion and not sim any games. I want us to play most if not all of our games. When games are simulated injuries tend to be more. If you are a baller you are a baller no matter if it is CPU or Human. When someone quits well now just another computer game to be played. We play to win the game! just contiinue to ball fellas all will work out in the wash.

Go Canes!!

I agree with the premise of eliminating simmed games- I'd much rather play the CPU than have my games simmed (see my W-L record in simmed games).
My concern that because there's no way of monitoring games being played against the CPU, we're allowing an advantage to those who choose to play a style based on programming exploitation vs sim style.

Okay even if this is true. What if a person is just good and are playing sim style. Are they supposed to hold back just because the AI is not goood enough to keep up? If you are coaching a team and put in your third string will you tell the running back to go down? That running back will be trying to score and trying to show why he shold be a starter.

just remember its a video game fair will not happen. We are playing on 7 min quarters and with focus and not exploit points and stats can be run up. No reason to quit the league in my opinion and no reason to sim the CPU games also in my opinion.

Go Canes!!

Ya but commish if you look at the first two games of denver you see losses and very very close games. Then all of a suudden wamm big scores. Why didn't Denver win his first two games. Why is he undefeated in the next bunch of games, with BIG scores. The guy learned something somewhere.

It depends on how you define "good". Some think they're "good" because they have an arsenal of exploits that can be used to succeed against the CPU or otherwise. The purpose of sim-style rules is to weed these people out.

Your point is well-taken that it's a video game and fair isn't gonna happen. I keep playing because it's an enjoyable pasttime. If I want true competition, I'll play chess, racquetball, Rugby, football or some other sport.

I know your answer was directed towards the commish, but I will chime in and answer that question. XX came to the league in week 3. So the first two games of the season the Broncos were controlled by the computer. He is undefeated against computer and man. The guy obviously has a good game.

The fact of the matter is let him run up stats and scores against the computer. We will see what happens when he plays some of the ballers in the league. If he is good he is good, learn how to beat him. I am glad that we have some good players that bring good competition. Everyone can be beat on any given day, ain't that right scoonie05?

Default ahhh MAN!

Man look, if Denver puts up 1,200 against computer then he does...Lets move on from this and talk about the teams who trade players for nothing and to their friends or stole all the free agents...Can we better regulate that after the draft maybe post who u want then let the Commish put them on teams. I like the Lions and thanks for the shout out about good players...still learning...can't say much cause i don't concentrate all the time,,lol If u want to c the same in Modern Warfare 2 come c me "LILJUNIE"
