NCAA 08 vs Madden 08

I'm a big fan of NCAA and look forward to playing it every year, but for some of you hard core Madden ballers NCAA is just a tease until Madden comes out.

Each year I scramble to start my NCAA league as early as possible so I don't become a victim of Madden Release Syndome (MRS), a disease that affects many of the Madden ballers in my league. When Madden drops...so does their participation in the league. Some guys just vanish into thin air...damn you Madden? lol

Some cats will purchase NCAA just to lab for the upcoming Madden, knowing that many of the features in NCAA will also make it to Madden. So with that in mind, let's look at what we know so far about NCAA 08 and give some thought to which of these features will also show up in Madden. I won't distinquish between Current Gen or Next Gen Features--it's hard to do so at this point, but all features listed were seen in print or video preview or interview and will be in NCAA 08 on one or more platforms.

Which of the NCAA 08 features would you like to also appear in Madden 08?

GAME ENGINE
We already know the engine is the same just tweeked differently for the Pro game.

KICKING GAME
Separate kick meters for kicking and on-side kicks.

AUTO-MOTION PLAYS
WRs go in motion with out you having to move them--it's a part of the play--I assume they are similar to some of the block and release routes. These players are usefull for sweeps, end-arounds, etc. This sounds very sexy!

SHOTGUN-BIG F-TIGHT
Two QBs on the field. Backup under center. Starting QB lined up as RB. QB under center motions to a WR position, leaving the starting QB in shotgun formation. This is a college play, so doubtful this makes it into Madden, but, you never know.
